Templates

Here are some commonly used design templates:

Design Templates

1. Leave a 1/8″ (.125 inches) bleed over all crop line edges. Please call with any artwork issues.

2. We do not accept artwork in any Microsoft program (eg: Works, Word, Publisher). Extra fee will apply to fix the files.

3. All files must be at least 300 DPI. If you design at a lower resolution and then convert to 300 DPI, this will result in a loss of quality and can look blurry and incorrect. So start your design at 300 DPI

4. All color files must be in CMYK colour mode, NOT RGB. Design your files using RGB as you can access all of the Filters in this mode. Once the design is complete, convert to CMYK. Color shifting may appear if you are using bright blues, reds, purples or Neon colors, so keep this in mind.

5. If you are intending on printing 3 colors or less for the silkscreen on the actual disc, please let us know the Pantone names in the Pantone Solid Coated guide.

If you are printing a full color silkscreen, just save in the CMYK color mode and we’re good to go!

6. You can use websites like www.sendspace.com or www.dropbox.com to send your graphics and audio files.

7. Some people get confused to what our graphic terms mean.

   – 4/4, is full color on both sides of the inserts (CMYK/CMYK).
   – 4/1, is full color on one side and Black & white on the inside (CMYK/BLACK)
